Shocked and frustrated I left the office of my senior pastor. I had just poured out my heart, explaining to him a bundle of the pressures and challenges I was facing in my first year as a team pastor’s wife.

The platform came alive with flashing lights, billowing smoke and the pounding thump, thump of the base. Loud and energetic worship commenced. My eyes focused on the two young people leading the first song. A feeling of pride welled up in my heart and tears filled my eyes.
